On December 1, 2010 The Education Foundation, with media sponsor Naples Illustrated, is pleased to present the 8th Annual If the Shoe Fits , an evening of fantastic shopping, great auction prizes and good company. About 300 guests also delight in delicious food and cocktails (especially the signature Shoetini!) generously provided by sponsors McCormick & Schmick?s Seafood Restaurant and Pinnacle Vodka.
We are pleased to have the support of Saks Fifth Avenue at the Waterside Shops as our host for this unique ?girls night out.? While shoes and shopping continue to be the fun component, it is all to raise money to support a wonderful cause ? the Take Stock in Childrenscholarship and mentoring program of The Education Foundation.
Getting involved and supporting the success of our community?s children provides our children not only with the tools they need, but also an example of how individuals give back to support the commitment we all share to our mutual success. The Glass Slipper Recipient has exemplified this commitment to community. During the evening, the newest recipient of the Glass Slipper Award is presented. This award is given to a deserving woman for her dedication and service for the betterment of our Collier County children.
